Carbon Free New York Applauds Governor Cuomo's State of the State Address

We applaud Governor Cuomo for putting forward a bold environmental agenda that prioritizes renewable energy, reducing emissions, and takes aggressive action against climate change. We continue to believe that the New York Independent System Operator’s (NYISO) carbon pricing proposal is one of the state’s most effective tools available to help New York realize these goals outlined yesterday in a fast and effective way. CFNY looks forward to working with the Governor to ensure these critically important goals are realized for a cleaner, stronger New York.
