New York’s nuclear power plants are the foundation of our carbon-free future, providing almost half of the state’s clean energy today. New York must extend the Zero-Emission Credit program and secure safe, reliable, affordable, and clean power for years to come.

Carbon Free. Always On.

Nuclear energy powers 22% of New York’s grid, displacing fossil fueled generators and strengthening the State’s energy independence.

  • Protecting Public Health & the Environment

Nuclear currently provides 47% of New York’s carbon-free power, making it a vital tool in protecting the environment and the New Yorkers health.
